Steel instruments in the Kecskemét Garden of Perceptions
On Friday, 11 June, 2021, one of the converted areas of Aomori Park, the Garden of Perceptions, was handed over in the presence of a large number of visitors. With the cooperation of the local Lions Club, this unique, sensory garden was created with the donations and voluntary work of companies, institutions and individuals. A recreational and meditational garden was created for, in addition to blind, visually impaired and disabled people, children (there is a nursery, a kindergarten and a school next door), as well as Kecskemét residents and tourists.
The K-ARTS Art Foundation had strived to promote the senses of touch and hearing by creating sound-generating, playful metal objects capable of creating music.
This garden is gorgeous. It's worth trying the instruments!
