XXV. National Symposion Reunion and Exhibition – Budapest, Műcsarnok

The aim of the jubilee event of Symposium was for the participants to get to know today’s creative camps, workshops and the very rich results they have created. Representatives, participants and supporters of Hungarian art colonies and creative houses and the government members were invited to the event. The conference was accompanied by a spectacular exhibition in the halls of the Műcsarnok. The exhibition, which opened in January is the first such exhibition in Hungary which undertook the joint presentation of the activities and results of the Hungarian art colonies after 1945 and was nationally organized since the 1983 large-scale exhibition at the Műcsarnok. In terms of the number of participants, this was also the first exhibition to be organized which presenting and summarizing the activities of 56 art colonies and creative houses.

The K-ARTS Art Foundation, as the organizer of the Steel Sculpture and Fine Arts Symposium of Kecskemét, was present at the event. Judit Rabóczky and Éva Varga each represented with their art pieces the steel artists at the exhibition of the artists' colonies.
